About Us
The Vox is a New Orleans music (maga)zine dedicated to promoting forward thinking musicians and music culture. The Vox prides itself on independent music criticism, savvy cultural commentary, and keeping an eye toward the underground in New Orleans and beyond. We accept submissions from aspiring and established writers from throughout the city and the nation, as well as frequent contributions from WTUL staff, djs, and Tulane students.
The Vox distributes over 4,000 copies each month at local establishments throughout the New Orleans area, including Uptown (both Tulane and Loyola campuses) as well as in the French Quarter, the Marigny, the Bywater, Mid City, Baton Rouge, and the Northshore. If you have a suggestion for an area currently not covered in our distribution area, or if you know of a venue that would like to distribute the Vox, tell us.
